Dear Tyler,
You have been so much fun this month! I had to snap your seven month photo really fast because once you discovered it, off your shirt and into your mouth it went. As with everything, you want what we have and really enjoy looking at new things and holding them in your hands, before they head to your mouth.
You are such a sweet boy and have an easy going personality. You love to cuddle on our chest. I'm fairly certain it is one of your favorite things to do.
You really enjoy watching the TV, especially cartoons. We have DVR'ed some baby shows for you and the bright colors keep your attention.
None of your teeth have popped though yet, but I have a feeling within the next month, we will see some pearly whites.
For some reason, sometimes when we change your diaper you cry, but only for a few seconds. Once we divert your attention elsewhere by blowing raspberries on your belly or singing a song you quiet down and are fine. You sure know how to turn it on and off, silly boy.
Your giggle is really the funniest thing I've ever heard. I love it so much. You will laugh so hard at both your daddy and I. You also think Kody is hilarious and love being around him. You immediately reach out to touch him - you especially love his ears and snout. When he's laying down close to you, you will reach out and hold onto his foot or leg too. Kody also thinks you are the coolest and loves to lay down next to you. It melts my heart seeing the two of you interact.
You get fixated on stuff and really like to check things out.
You are eating really good but you make extremely funny faces with the first bite. You are really wanting to feed yourself with your spoon, which can make for quite a mess. There really aren't many foods you don't like, but fruit isn't your favorite. If we mix it with oatmeal it seems to taste better to you so that's what we do in the morning.
You love to bounce up and down ,whether in your jump-a-roo hanging from the kitchen door frame, in your exersaucer or while someone is holding you.
If we are out past 8 PM, you still have a meltdown in the car. Your internal clock it working like crazy. Our nighttime routine is something that you really enjoy.
Sometimes you cry in your car seat but it seems that you must be tired because you will cry for a few minutes then it will be silent because you fell sound asleep.
You love to smile back at people when they look at you, even complete strangers. Although, you've been giving wonderful smiles since you learned how to. You sure are a friendly little baby which makes my heart melt.
Everyone comments on your eyelashes. They are amazing I am a tad bit jealous of your eyes because they are beautiful and the natural curl in your eyelashes is to die for. Your Daddy asks me often if you will keep your long eyelashes and I tell him yes. He can't believe how long they are and says you will get all the ladies with those eyes.
Because of your long eyelashes and head full of hair, you get called a girl, a lot. If your Daddy is with us, he will correct strangers and tell him "his name is Tyler." I guess people really don't pay much attention to your clothes.
You have the cutest little chubby rolls on your legs. They are just so cute!
You love to play with your toys and chew on things.
You are also getting very interested in grabbing anything you can reach and touch when we are holding you.
You love other babies and really enjoy one on one interaction with friends. You are just so sweet and will share your toys with other babies.
We put your Boppy around you when you are sitting on the floor playing. After awhile, I think you get tired so you will lay on back and lounge. I love watching you relax.
You are still anti-paci, although now you enjoy chewing on it.
You will giggle at the drop of a hat. I can just look at you and you will start laughing. It's hilarious.
We love you SO much. More everyday!
