Weeks 13, 14 and 15 have been relatively uneventful, all of which is a good thing. The baby is growing as he/she should and seems to be healthy so far. I go back to the doctor on Friday, so hopefully we'll come out of there with a good check-up. I am feeling much, much better with almost all of the "early" pregnancy symptoms gone. It's nice to take off my sea sickness bands (I just took them off yesterday) for a change, even though I still have some ridiculous tan lines, thanks to being outside for UK football games. Rich has been stocking up on diapers - we have three cases of diapers so far along with one case of wipes. We may have diapers to last us the first six months at the pace he's going right now, but I'm not complaining. They will be put to great use sooner than later. Let's just hope the baby doesn't have an allergy to Pampers!
15 Weeks
Size: an orange
Development: The baby looks more like a "baby" now. He/she is tumbling around, kicking, curling it's toes and moving those little arms and legs, although I can't feel much of these aerobics classes just yet. The ears are set in place on the sides of the head and the eyes are moving from the side of the head to the front of the face where they will remain permanently. How far along: 15 weeks, four days (3 months, 3 weeks)
Total weight gain: 9 pounds
Maternity clothes: None yet, just the belly band
Sleep: Some good nights, some bad nights - I still wake up around 2:30 AM wide eyed, yet sooooo tired
Movement: Nothing yet, but in the coming weeks, I should feel some flutters
Gender: ?
Belly Button in or out: In
What I miss: Cold ham sandwich from Jimmy John's. I substitute that with a veggie sub, which almost replaces my beloved ham sandwich for lunch.
What I am looking forward to: Looking like I have a 'baby bump instead' of just flubber. At the end of the day, my belly looks like a pregnant belly, but during the day, it doesn't seem to take that shape.
