Tyler - Two Months

• You are giving the cutest little smiles and will give people smiles when they talk to you.  You gave your Daddy the biggest smile, which was the first "real" smile on cue that you gave.  Mommy was so jealous!

• You are growing too fast for your momma!

• You love to coo and talk to people when they talk to you.

• You will follow us by turning your head or moving your eyes.  It's so sweet.

• You had your two month shots this afternoon.  You weigh 11 lbs., 5 oz. (35th percentile) and are 23 3/8 inches long (75th percentile).  Your head circumference is 16" which is the 90th percentile.  You have a big noggin!  Go figure why we struggle to get your clothes over your head. 

• You are wearing 3 month clothes, but can wear some 6 month although they are a tad bit big.  But you have some really cute summer outfits that are 6 month so I am trying to get as much wear out of them as I can. 

• You do not like a paci, but will sometimes take one as long as  we hold it in your mouth. 

•  You love to look at the objects hanging down from your activity mat and are starting to look at the mobile above your crib.

• You don't eat every two hours anymore; we just feed you when you are hungry.  You wake up from your naps hungry and will usually go 3-4 hours between feedings.  Some nights you have slept 5-6 hours between feedings, but usually it's 3-5 hour stretches. You only wake up on the hour at half past the hour.  It is a little wild I must say.

•  You wear a size 1 diaper. You can't wear Huggies at all because they leak every.single.time.  
  

•  You love bath time even more and could probably play in your tub for a long time.  

•  I think you can see a pretty good distance.  We can smile and talk to you from across the room and you will smile back.  

•  You love having your picture taken, duh ;)

• You have the sweetest little temperament. You can be fussy, but your chill mode is adorable.

•  Your eyelashes are almost black and are really long.  They are one of my most favorite features about you. 

•  You finally love your swing.  You will sit in it and just look around and then fall asleep.

•  You love to be held and look over our shoulder.  Often times, you will wiggle down and chew on our upper arm.  

•  Your head is super strong.  You will hold it up and move it side to side.  Tummy time is still a struggle. 

•  You have fallen in love with your activity mat.  You have sat in your boppy under the objects that dangle down for an hour.  You hit them, coo at them and kick your feet all while smiling the biggest smiles.  You love to look at yourself in the mirror too.

•  You love to take walks in your stroller just as much as Mommy loves to take you.  You look all around and take in the fresh air.  Towards the tail end of our walks though, you almost always fall asleep. 

 

I can't believe you are two months old.  You really need to slow down with the growing part!
