A Child of God

Sunday, September 16th, Tyler was Baptized into the Catholic faith at the same church I was baptized in 32 years ago.  It was a very special and sentimental day for our family.  We chose my youngest brother Brian and one of my oldest friends Valerie to be Tyler's Godparents and role models.  I believe we made a good choice especially since both of them think the world of our sweet boy.  

Tyler was exceptional in church and during the entire ceremony.  As he was being baptized, he started laughing out loud.  It was fantastic!  He loves bath time so I figured a sprinkling of holy water on his head would be a big hit for the little guy.   

Rich's family came in from Winchester, but his Dad wasn't able to make it.  He has quite a few cows getting ready to give birth so it just wasn't safe for him to leave the farm unattended especially if a cow needed emergency attention.  

We had a luncheon after the baptism at our home to honor Tyler on his special day.  We had a wonderful turnout with our closest family and friends.  We feel very fortunate to be raising Tyler around so many positive and loving people .
