Capturing Life's Little Moments: Tyler Time

Tyler is ten months old. That is getting ridiculously close to one year old.

My sweet baby is growing up so fast.

I love the baby stage so much. It has it's stressful moments, but the exciting times far outweigh the bad. Being a parent is hard work, but the most rewarding work I'll ever accomplish in my life.

Tyler is crawling so fast and standing up strong while holding onto things. He loves to pull himself up and has mastered getting down once he is standing. That was a minor challenge for a little bit, but he's done a great job figuring out how to lower himself to the ground.

We literally chase him around the house. He loves it! His laugh is contagious. He is very curious about everything and wants anything we have in our hand. Our stuff is far better than his toys.

Tyler is a ham for the camera. He loves to smile, but lately the flash on my phone has made him blink a lot. He isn't a fan! When I tried to take his 10 month photos, he really enjoyed pulling the sticker off his clothes so that was quite the challenge. Eventually I just gave up. Tyler won!

He is such a sweet and funny boy. He laughs all the time and is a very happy boy.

This month has been so much fun.

He still only has two bottom teeth, but I bet his top teeth are making their way down.

Tyler has had three haircuts already. I probably could have let it grown, but it his bangs were just getting too long and I didn't want them hanging over his eyes and he literally had wings around his ears. It is adorable though because he has great hair.

His eyes are a blue/gray/brown combo. They haven't changed much at all from the time he was born. His eyelashes are still amazing!

He can be so bashful. It takes him a bit to warm up to other people. Sometimes he isn't even sure about people he has been around often.

He is still enamored by the dogs. To say he thinks they're awesome is an understatement

His giggle is HYSTERICAL. He will randomly laugh for no reason and think it's so funny. We do, too.

He is saying 'dog', 'dogdog', 'dadada', 'ball' but no mama just yet. I know my time is coming soon!

He hardly complains or fusses about much. When I say he is a content kiddo, he really is.
He still enjoys to share his food with us or the dogs.

We haven't found anything Tyler doesn't like. One of his favorites is avocado which is fantastic. He still likes being fed from a spoon, but will feed himself just fine although 75% of it lands on his lap or the floor.

He will hold his bottle on his own, but at night and in the morning he lets us give it to him.

He still loves to jump in his jumparoo. He finds it hilarious too.

He makes the funniest faces.

He loves to cuddle or lay his head on our chest or shoulder. He still wants cuddles in the middle of the night. He loves to give kisses too which are about the sweetest thing, ever.

He does have a temper which isn't the best. He will straighten his arms out, clench his fist and fuss if something doesn't go his way or an object is taken from him.

When he has a toy in his hand, he will crawl while dragging one leg. It's super fast and super cute.

He will smile at other people pretty quickly. It's a very contagious little grin.

We couldn't be happier with our Tyler Shanahan. To say this has been the best ten months of my life is an understatement. I can't imagine living life any other way than watching a child grown and learn. Although I am sad that he is growing so fast, I do enjoy watching him discover and learn. It is a thrilling process for me so I know our future is bright.
