Fall Family Photos

As a Christmas gift to us, the year before Tyler was born, we purchased a Canon Rebel camera. I love it and I really enjoy taking pictures with it.  Rather than pay for an expensive photo session and then have to buy prints/digital images, we decided to take our talent to Tom Sawyer Park to see if we could re-create what a professional photographer would do.  With the help of some friends and PhotoShop, I think we did a great job capturing our little family.  

We decided to take the photos in the morning which worked out perfectly.  The sun was shining, leaves were on the ground and the trees were still full of colorful leaves.  

I'm just getting my feet wet with all that PhotoShop does, but I am loving it so far.  I've watched YouTube tutorials on how to do most everything because the software is overwhelming and I had no idea what each tool did.  The possibilities are endless so I enjoy discovering new "tricks" each time I use it.  

I have a feeling that our professional photo sessions have some to an end!
