Cole | Month Four

And just like that, Baby Cole is four months old! He's found his voice and loves to make a lot of chatter, his hands, sucking his thumb, interacting with his best buddy Tyler, smiling, laughing, sleeping, bath time, sitting up in his bumbo and playing in his "office." He's such a joy and is so much fun. We love everything there is to love about his sweet demeanor. 

1/20 -- held bottle for the first time. Val was feeding him at Mellow Mushroom for Hannah's birthday and he was holding it. 

Loves holding onto his toys and bringing them to his mouth 

Talks all the time. Sometimes screeches! 

When nursing he has his hand resting on his forehead. Sweetest thing ever. Also grabs hold of my shirt with the other hand. 

Such a happy baby. Loves to sit on my lap and kick his legs and talk. Had the best time at Sakura blue watching the hibachi grill cook cook. 

Adapting well to baby school. Usually takes two 4-4.5 oz bottles each day. 

1/8/16 -- rolled all the way over, without assistance while laying on the rug in the bathroom. 

Really tries to roll every chance he gets. 

Belly laughs at Tyler and loves interacting with him. The feeling is mutual as Tyler simply adores Cole. 

First week of daycare = a cough 

1/4/2016 -- first day of baby school at Cornerstone. Had a good day for it being his first day his teacher said. When he was happy, he was happy, but when he was upset he was upset. Had a blowout. Drank two bottles. 

He's really talking back to us and loves his hands and fists. Sucks his thumb when he wakes in the morning. Had the sweetest smile and grin ever. The happiest, most snugly baby. 

1/4/16 -- blocked milk duct. It was the size of a golf ball and really knotty. It wouldn't go away that night but about 24 hours later after Cole nursed the second time that night it was gone. Maybe caused from being off work for the holidays and not pumping for a week and a half? 

Really grabbing things and bringing them to his mouth 

Loves to hold our fingers and bring them to his mouth 

Will hold toys and bring to his mouth 

1/2/2016 Tried oatmeal for first time and hated it so we never gave him anymore.
