CJS | Month 8

8 | Months

5/26 learned how to sit himself up when he's laying on the ground.

Loves feeding himself "real" big boy food. And he eats a lot too. Ate two waffles and a half banana for breakfast today!

When he's ready to nurse, he grabs my boob, holds it tightly and latches on. He also rests his hand in my boob. Sweetest thing, ever. M

Still loves his paci, and also enjoys playing with it. I gave him three pacis as once - he put each one in his mouth, one at a time to test them all out. 😉

Tried broccoli last night and loved it. He picked it up and ate it like a champ.

Still only has two bottom teeth. Wears his amber teething necklace really well and doesn't even realize it's around his neck.

He's trying so hard to crawl but he gets where he needs to go by rolling and scooting.

He will make it to an object that he wants and is quick!

You can stand him up against a table or the ottoman in his room and he will stand, all on his own.

He loves to play with his ride on elephant and ride on the giraffe. He and Tyler ride together which is so much fun.

He had his third ear infection on Derby Day. Augmentin was prescribed this time around.

He's babbling more and more each day and absolutely adores Tyler. He loves playing with Tyler's toys.

He is feeding himself foods - loves puffs and the bean puffs. Also tried mac n cheese and lasagna for the first time. Both were a huge hit!

He's trying to figure out the sippy cup.

Goes to bed about 9-10. Wales twice in the night to nurse. I have to wake him at 8 for school. Some weekends he will wake and will lay in bed talking and playing with his paci then fall back to sleep.

When he wake he is the happiest, most content baby. He doesn't make a sound other than talking to himself.

His paci is still one of his most favorite things.

His two bottom teeth are really shooting up.

He reaches out for people now. At school if he sees me walk into the room, but not pick him up right away (bc I go to get his car seat) he will begin to cry. I think the beginning stages of separation anxiety are setting in
.
