Since Tyler still wakes between 3 and 4 AM for a feeding each night, I asked if that was normal because I have read where 4-month olds typically are typically sleeping through the night. This prompted a series of a few questions and since Tyler is genuinely hungry at that hour and isn't just 'snacking' off me, Dr. Laney looked at Tyler and said "give that boy some food!" in which Ty replied with a belly laugh. It was the cutest thing and apparently those words were music to my sweet boy's ears. That being said, we introduced a small amount of oatmeal that evening and Tyler took to the spoon like he has been spoon fed his entire short life. He is such a good eater and seems to love his oatmeal. Now, every night after his bath, he gets his oatmeal and we get a boatload of smiles, coos, cahs and laughs. I wish I could freeze him at this age because he is so much fun!
Pre-oatmeal. All smiles!
Such a happy boy
This spoon thing is easy
Mmmm
Dr. Laney was right - oatmeal would be everywhere. Tyler sneezed and it came out his nose!
Daddy even knows how to feed him oatmeal
