Tyler kicked off his birthday week with a party at school on the Wednesday before his birthday, since school was closed for Good Friday. He partied with his friends and got a little embarrassed when they sang "Happy Birthday" to him. Nonetheless, his teachers said he was excited to share his cookie cake with all of his friends.
We celebrated the birthday boy on his actual birthday, Friday, April 18th with a small family party. Tyler enjoyed being the star of the show and of course opening presents.
The next day, we headed to Winchester for another birthday party / Easter celebration. Tyler surely is loved!
Last but not least, we invited Tyler's closest little friends to a party at All About Kids, his favorite indoor gym full of bouncies, foam pits, trampolines, slides and balls. This was a fan favorite by everyone, including me because I didn't have to prepare my house or clean up the mess. It was a win-win for everyone involved. I also think all the kids were worn out so they probably slept well that night. We have realized that spring birthdays come at a busy time for most folks, so some of Tyler's friends couldn't make it because they had prior obligations.
