The Cats came from a 28-10 halftime deficit to win the game. They never gave up and fought so hard to stun #10 South Carolina, 31-28. Keep in mind, USC just knocked off #1 Alabama last week.
With 1:15 left on the clock, UK's QB Mike Hartline, found Randall Cobb wide open in the end zone. A two point conversion resulted in a three point lead for UK. South Carolina got the ball back and marched right down the field into USC territory. With four seconds left on the clock, USC's QB, Stephen Garcia threw a pass into the end zone, hoping for the win. I turned away as the ball left the QB's hand because I could not watch as so many games have ended this way, not in UK's favor. Needless to say, the ball was tipped by UK's backup cornerback, Cartier Rice and UK's Mosley was there to catch the ball resulting in an interception in the end zone. That catch sealed the deal and the Cats won. The crowd erupted with high fives all over the place, goal posts collapsed and fans stormed the field. Rich and I hopped over the wall and flooded the field in celebration. The reason for storming the field was not because UK upset USC - it was simply because UK has never once beat a team that Steve Spurrier has coached (Florida and South Carolina). It's been 18 years folks... This win also snapped a 10-game losing streak against USC.
On your mark, get set, GO! Getting ready to hop the wall.

Snow angels on the 30-yard line. There were a couple photographer's taking Rich's picture.

UK's Moncell Allen - Rich loves this kid!

Now that's a genuine smile. CATS won!

On the field, baby!

Sitting in the player's chairs on the sideline like we own the place.

Need a kicker?

Taylor Wyndham was made famous after his sack on Tim Tebow last year which resulted in a concussion. This was one tackle he genuinely felt bad about. Rich thinks he looks like Clark Kent, AKA Superman.

Qua Huzzie is a linebacker for UK from LaGrange, Georgia. My cousins, who have an RV and tailgate each and every home game have formed a friendship with this kid. He usually stops by after most home games and is a pleasant kid to be around. He is very polite and appreciative of everything. He began coming to the tailgate last year when he was a red-shirt freshman due to a shoulder injury. His cousin, DeMoreo Ford played for UK and was a frequent visitor and brought several players to the tailgate.
