After a week long decision making process, I ordered our holiday cards for the upcoming Christmas season. They arrived on Tuesday and I addressed them yesterday. Now, I just have to wait a couple weeks before I mail them out. Since I had them custom-made I knew that I had to get a head start, but I am so proud of myself for arriving to the Christmas card party early.
Now, I can sit back, relax and enjoy the holiday season. I would post a sneak peak, but that will ruin the surprise! With modern technology these days, personal snail mail is almost a thing of the past. I enjoy receiving Christmas cards during the holidays so I hope everyone appreciates ours as much as we do. Rich picked out the picture which was a huge help because I had a hard time narrowing down my choices.
We were able to check many family members off our Christmas list this year, a tad bit early. We had an $800 print credit with our wedding photographer so I went on an ordering frenzy. It took me forever to decide which images to order, but after careful consideration I finally decided. The prints are currently on order and will arrive before Christmas. I loved the paper that our coffee table book was printed on and the prints will arrive the same way. They are fade proof so the colors will be vibrant for years to come which helps justify the price. I ordered several 4x6 prints from Snapfish that I gave out to my bridesmaids, family members and friends. I was pleased with the turnout of the 9 cent pictures so I can only imagine what the professionally printed photos will look like.
Two of our friends have used our wedding photographer (Josh Meredith/Bella Grace Studios) for their own personal use. Josh took maternity pictures for both Jaclyn and Taylor and Aaron and Rachel. He also just did a family photo shoot for Aaron and Rachel now that Zoe has arrived. They also included their Black Lab Elvis in some of the photos and they turned out to be darling. Josh has a very keen eye for capturing the most special moments and it makes me feel good to refer business to him.
Most of my blog readers are on our Christmas card list so you will be receiving yours soon!
I hope your holiday season is merry and bright and many happy memories are made this year.
